DIRECTIONS TO NETHER JOHNSTONE HOUSE
From Glasgow or the South
Follow the M8 motorway from Glasgow until you have passed the Glasgow Airport exit road, just passed the airport exit the road divides into the M8 to Greenock and the A 737 to (Irvine) take the A737. Follow the A737 until you see the exit marked Johnstone/Br of Weir, take this exit and at the top of the exit road turn left towards Johnstone (keeping to the centre of the Road) then turn IMMEDIATE RIGHT (15 yards from the exit road) into our private road, the house is 300 yards along on the left.
From Ayrshire
Find the A737 east, follow the A737 until you see the exit road for Johnstone/Br of Weir, take this exit and at the top of the exit road turn right towards Johnstone. When you have passed over the A737 (two roundabouts) head into Johnstone, about 40 yards after leaving the second roundabout you will see our sign on your right, turn into the private road and we are 300 yards along on the left.
From Erskine Bridge
Follow the M8 motorway till you see the Glasgow Airport/Paisley exit road, take this exit and go around the roundabout till you see signs for the A737 (Irvine) Road. Take the A737 roaduntil you see the exit marked Johnstone/Br of Weir, take this exit and at the top of the exit road turn left towards Johnstone (keeping to the centre of the Road) then turn IMMEDIATE RIGHT (15 yards from the exit road) into our private road, the house is 300 yards along on the left.
From Glasgow Airport
On leaving the Airport Compound follow the signs for the M8 Motorway west to Greenock (not the M8 to Glasgow City), as you follow these signs you will come to a major roundabout (Traffic Circle), DO NOT GO ON TO THE M8 but take the exit from the roundabout marked A737 (Irvine). Follow the A737 until you see the exit marked Johnstone/Br of Weir, take this exit and at the top of the exit road turn left towards Johnstone (keeping to the centre of the Road) then turn IMMEDIATE RIGHT (15 yards from the exit road) into our private road, the house is 300 yards along on the left.
If coming by taxi, please call a local taxi on 01505 325222 since the airport cabs are expensive and do not know the area of Johnstone, this results in overcharging.
From Paisley
From Paisley centre follow the road to Johnstone, pass straight through Johnstone Centre following the signs for Houston and Bridge of Weir. Once you have passed through Johnstone Town Centre the road dips downwards with a large white and blue Mill on the left and a construction site for Morrisons Supermarket on the right. Follow the road until just before the roundabout and you will see a small road on the left to and a large sign for Nether Johnstone House. Turn into the lane, and the house is located 400 yards on the left.
